Growing up, my world was a mid-west metropolis. My engagement with other cultures and visitors from countries outside the US was limited to my interaction with clients as a snowboard instructor, bartender, and college student. In 1994, my eyes were opened wide to the world when I was able to attend the Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, Norway. Since then, my desire for travel and cultural learning has been a driving force for living life. Today, the world has become a much smaller place. People are connected around the globe and it's common place for a company in a small mid-west town to directly engage in business trade with a client in Bangalore India. One of the key demands of the global marketplace is global talent. The talent pool is no longer limited to the candidates in a particular city, state or even country.
