I am an Executive Level analyst in ASIC's ASX Supervision team. Prior to this role, I was part of the ASX inquiry Secretariat and specialised in international FMI and market operator supervision from a governance, risk management, tech & capability lens. I am also passionate about International Fintech regulation and blockchain technology to promote consumer protection and market integrity. I authored the crypto asset regulatory toolkit chapter of the IOSCO Retail Market Conduct Task Force's Final Report and co-authored various reports for international standard setting bodies on SupTech and tokenisation.

      My team develops international policy and strategy in response to global regulatory issues. My key responsibilities include: 1. Preparing briefings and speaking notes for senior executive leaders and ASIC commissioners during bilateral meetings with international regulatory counterparts and standard setting bodies. 2. Providing research and support for ASIC's Innovation Hub bilateral meetings. Drafted responses to Financial Stability Board surveys on unbacked crypto assets. 3. Coordinating Fintech and Sustainable finance work with other council of financial regulator agencies and internal ASIC teams. 4. Driving and supporting international regulatory policy initiatives, particularly via the International Organisation of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) and its associated Fintech Taskforce Crypto & Digital Assets and Decentralised Finance workstreams. 5. Supporting internal stakeholders as they liaised with relevant international bodies, as well as maintaining relationships with key international stakeholders to support ASIC's engagement with the global regulatory reform agenda. 6. Drafting the IOSCO Retail Market Conduct Task Force final report and other standard setting body reports where required. My other ongoing responsibilities include: * Developing international policy and strategy on global regulatory issues * Providing expert advice on international risks, regulatory developments, and overseas legal frameworks * Contributing to ASIC's capacity building programs in the Asia-Pacific. * Managing relationships with government agencies (APRA, DFAT, RBA, Treasury), and overseas regulators. * Negotiating agreements with overseas governments * Supervising and coaching staff
