I am currently a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer and Technical Consultant for MC Sonae's retail network, which includes Continente, Worten, and Wells. My work focuses on maintaining and evolving backend services to ensure performance, stability, and security, while also contributing to user-focused frontend development. Previously, I played a key role in a project for Solinca's gym network in Europe, supporting over 200,000 members. I worked closely with teams in SEO, PPC, and growth hacking, focusing on maximizing ROI and LTV. My role required a combination of business and technical skills to drive sustainable, scalable growth. As one of the key Full-Stack developers in our company, I play a pivotal role in the team that is transforming our main application from a monolith into a microservices architecture. My contributions span critical areas. Initially, I led the full implementation of user event tracking and monitoring, intelligently integrating it with an external service to boost sales conversion on our delivery platform. Additionally, I took a central role in creating a dedicated microservice for order management. Within this scope, I participated in implementing features for product segmentation in market orders and processing several payment methods, including credit cards, NuPay, Pix, and others. I also led efforts to enhance the shopping cart module, improve product inventory control, optimize the checkout experience, and streamline fee and invoice payment processing for partners. To further improve our services, I developed a feature allowing customized map areas' deletion, optimizing our delivery operations based on customer geolocation. Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in generating detailed order reports for our back-office team, enhancing fraud control. To elevate code quality, I collaborated with the team to implement best development practices, design patterns, and performance optimizations. This encompassed adopting decorators for more concise and readable code and implementing rigorous unit and integration testing for development robustness. In the CI area, we initiated multiple improvements, enhancing development efficiency. Beyond these contributions, I also actively participate in other initiatives with the goal of maximizing company profits, reducing operational costs, strengthening security, and improving the user experience on our platform.
