I’m focus on making a contribution through my work to these 3 objectives: Objective 1: Promote Responsible Investment and sustainable Finance in the Latin American region. Objective 2: To ensure that companies manage and communicate effectively and reliably social, environmental and governance (ESG) information so stakeholders and financial institutions can make better decisions and reduce risk. Objective 3: Establish financial mechanisms to support companies in the transition to a low carbon and nature positive economy. I’m focus on working with clients in Latin America to improve their sustainability, climate change and biodiversity practices. Also I’m continue supporting the consolidation of responsible investing and sustainable finance in Latin America. Since coming back in 2023 I had the opportunity to lead more than 100+ projects with a team of 10+ people supporting companies and financial institutions in Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Panama and Mexico. I also serve as the LCSP (Lead Client Service Partner) for Deloitte’s relationship with Grupo SURA, where I coordinate multidisciplinary teams and strategic initiatives to strengthen our collaboration. In this role, I focus on identifying opportunities to expand Deloitte’s advisory services and create long-term value for one of the most important financial groups in Latin America.

Promoting the adoption of the 6 principles for responsible investment in spanish speaking Latin American countries. Since my arrival in 2018 and with the support of my colleagues we manage to get more than 100 institutional investors base in Latam to join PRI. In 2021 I launched the climate change initiative for Latam investors (ICIL). We supported more than 50 investors in Latam so they improve their public commitment and capabilities around climate change. I was part of the signatory relationship emerging market working group, that promotes the EM agenda within PRI.
Helped create the sustainability and climate change service in Deloitte Colombia in 2008 with the support of Deloitte’s partner Jorge Munera. For more than 10 years I worked with +40 companies in Colombia to help them improve their sustainability management and communications. Represent Deloitte in the 2015 WBCSD Leadership Program that offer a unique opportunity to develop leaders who will shape our future and drive sustainability. Participate in the Sustainable Finance global team in Deloitte from 2015 to 2018. Support the green bonds practice for Deloitte globally and the development of the first green bond issue in Colombia (Bancolombia 2016).
