# Bio As a research scientist in brain-computer interfaces, I am dedicated to advancing the field of neurotechnology through cutting-edge research and innovation. With a deep understanding of both neuroscience and engineering principles, I am committed to developing novel brain-computer interfaces with different applications, including assistive systems for severely disabled people, neurorehabilitation, and entertainment. My research interests include exploring the neural mechanisms underlying brain function to improve brain-computer interfaces, investigating the potential applications of these technologies in clinical and non-clinical settings, and identifying ways to enhance the user experience of these systems. As a passionate and dedicated researcher, I am always seeking new opportunities to collaborate with other scientists and engineers to push the boundaries of what is possible in the field of neurotechnology. Throughout my research career, I have gained extensive experience in designing, implementing, and testing brain-computer interface systems. My primary research focus lies in the design and development of machine learning and deep learning techniques for the real-time decoding of neural data. In addition, I lead the development of MEDUSA, an innovative software ecosystem designed to accelerate BCI and cognitive neuroscience research. # Hard Skills - Brain-computer interfaces | Neural Engineering - Machine learning | Deep learning - Real time signal processing | Time-frequency analysis | Non-linear analysis # Soft skills - Public speaking - Multidisplinary teams - Conceptualization & design of research projects | Grant writing # Programming - Languages: Python [expert], Matlab [high], C++ [high], Java [medium], C#[medium] - Web development: HTML [high], PHP [high], Javascript [high], CSS [high] - Frameworks & tools: Tensorflow [expert], Pytorch [expert], Flask [high], Unity [medium], Docker[medium], React [basic], Django[basic] # Research profiles - Google scholar: https://bit.ly/2Ecw1mC - Research Gate profile: https://bit.ly/3iHmPpv
Founder & Lead Developer of MEDUSA©, a novel Python-based software ecosystem to accelerate neurotech research
As a member of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence at the University of Valladolid (UVaIA), I contribute to advancing AI from both technical and ethical perspectives. I actively participate in research projects focused on developing innovative models and applications, while promoting the responsible use and dissemination of AI through dialogue on its ethical, social, and legal implications.
