Iโve been fortunate to work across startups, research labs, and global firmsโbuilding solutions, driving change, and learning what it really takes to make tech work for people and business. At KPMG, Iโve been part of the team managing one of Angolaโs largest and most ambitious financial digital transformation projectsโdelivering tangible results like streamlined operations, increased stakeholder alignment, and improved service delivery. Before that, I founded iambu.com, an AI-powered edtech startup built to help students around the world find and apply for scholarships more easily. From system architecture to leading development teams, I designed intelligent, user-centered tools to solve a real and pressing global challenge. Iโve also worked on AI research in cybersecurity (intrusion detection), contributed to R&D for autonomous vehicle systems, and built full-stack platforms that have supported recruitment pipelines and smart infrastructure initiatives. This internship extends my year-long research journey supervised by Res. Asst. MEHMET YAVUZ YAฤCI I used python, Numpy, pandas and other python libraries to preprocess approximately 1GB of data with more than 5 million samples, collected from different points of a computer network to be used in our intrusion detection algorithms. I Developed, trained and tested approximately 10 artificial intelligence models, both supervised and unsupervised using tensorflow and google colab I researched the main artificial intelligence techniques used in Intrusion detection systems (IDS), mainly in critical systems that use SCADA and also prepared a report on them for future scientific work.
