Dr. Edouard Servan-Schreiber is the managing director of Transmutex USA, developing an Accelerator Based System to transmute nuclear waste and harvest medical nuclear isotopes. Previously Edouard led numerous forward deployed engineering teams over 2 decades (pre-sales, consulting, customer success) in the fields of robotics, customer data and customer relationship management. Edouard worked with Teradata, MongoDB, ActionIQ, and Viam Robotics spanning multiple continents and industries. Edouard began practicing artificial intelligence and statistical learning models at Carnegie Mellon University for his bachelor’s degree, before going to UC Berkeley for his PhD in Computer Science, advised by Christos Papadimitriou. Specialties: Building field teams, enterprise selling, consulting in machine learning models and analytics leveraging detailed enterprise data. Viam is a next generation platform to build robotic systems enabling rapid development iterations and enabling AI in the physical realm. Built a team of 15 forward deployed engineers (US/EU) to execute POCs and delivery for robotic solutions in numerous domains such as marine tracking, video surveillance, industrial sanding, warehouse pick and place.
ActionIQ merged with Uniphore in late 2024 resulting in a multi-billion dollar joint entity. We pioneered the Customer Data Platform (CDP) category, a new market in the intersection of Data Infrastructure and Customer Experience software. Prior to its acquisition, ActionIQ was recognized as the overall market leader, including ranking as the #1 CDP vendor in Forrester’s inaugural CDP market report. ActionIQ earned the business of dozens of Fortune 500 customers such as Atlassian, Bloomberg, Dell, Hertz, HP, Morgan Stanley, News Corp, Verizon and many others. In this role, I was consulting for customers on how to get the most of their martech stack and offering them solutions to accelerate their business performance, combining data from digital sources and physical visits to optimize advertising investments.
Built a 30-person customer services function composed of the customer engagement team (consulting, project management, and customer success) and the forward deployed engineering team (system architecture, data engineering, operational excellence). Owned the customer engagement from contract signature to customer handover and acceptance.
