Current Production Project Manager, accountable for the engineering governance of current production activities for tractor models M7 and M6002 across Europe, North America, Asia, and Australia. Key responsibilities included: ● Acting as the engineering focal point for global current production, collaborating cross‑functionally with Quality & Service, Manufacturing, and Sales to address market issues, resolve assembly line blocking points, and enhance overall product attractiveness. ● Leading and coordinating an international engineering team based in France and Japan (8 engineers and technicians), covering multiple domains including design, electrical & electronic systems, software development, validation, homologation, and purchasing. ● Defining priorities, planning, and resource allocation, with close day‑to‑day monitoring of activities to ensure timely resolution of issues impacting production and the market. ● Reporting KPIs, risks, and overall activity status directly to executive management (General Manager and first‑level leadership), supporting informed decision‑making. ● Managing project budgets of up to €5M and engineering assets valued at approximately €1M. Key achievement: Successfully led the global resolution of multiple market quality issues, while driving cost‑down initiatives resulting in €2M savings, without compromising product performance or customer satisfaction.
Responsible for the end-to-end development and validation of the 1.3L MultiJet Euro 6d Temp 95 hp engine (first application featuring the SCR system), from initial design concept to Start of Production (SOP). The engine was installed on the following vehicle platforms: Fiat Tipo, Fiat 500X, Fiat 500L, Fiat Qubo/Fiorino, and Fiat Doblò. Key responsibilities included: ● Leading and coordinating daily activities across all technical functions within the Powertrain Engineering department (design, prototyping, testing, calibration, and controls), ensuring the successful execution of all project phases: Alpha (concept), Beta (prototype), Gamma (off-tool), Pre-Pilot (off-tool & off-process), and Pilot (PPAP certified). ● Providing weekly technical project status reports to the Engine Platform Product Team, ensuring alignment and visibility across key stakeholders including Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, and Product Quality. ● Presenting project status and critical technical topics during top management review meetings with the Powertrain Engineering Vice President and direct reports. ● Managing the overall project budget (€11M). Key achievement: Successful on-time market launch of the 1.3L MultiJet Euro 6d Temp engine, fully compliant with emissions regulations and meeting all performance, quality, and cost targets.
Performed validation and functional testing on major engine components including crankshaft, camshaft, turbocharger, exhaust manifold, timing belt system, valve timing system, and flywheel across the following engine families: ● 2.2L Diesel and 2.0L Gasoline engines for Alfa Romeo ● 1.0L and 1.3L FireFly engines Activities included component-level testing, root cause analysis, and support to design and calibration teams to ensure compliance with performance, durability, and quality targets.
