Energetic and well-trained Assistant Director with experience in all stages of production, coordinating all production activity with over 100 shooting days as 1st AD and over 800 shooting days as 2nd 2nd or 3rd AD on feature films,TV series,TV Commercials and music videos. Excellent communication skills, responsibly executing production schedule and keeping the set work efficient, carrying out instructions with enthusiasm and providing the crew with relevant information. Working effectively under pressure, ability to adapt quickly to changing situation and well developed sense of putting the crew down the path to achieve the goals of the production. Reading the script up to the detail and collaborating with Producers, Director, DP and HoD’s to make sure that there is nothing unclear when it gets to shoot. Creating, reading and understanding breakdown,schedule,call sheet,shot list and storyboards. Set terminology and set etiquette knowledge, creativity and dedication to the project are part of my personal qualities. I’m familiar with the filming equipment (camera and lens types, camera supporting equipment – provided by Grip and Lighting departments; Camera vehicles; Art dept. facilities etc.) and filming methods (camera positions and movements; preparing, rehearsing and shooting scene with actors or stunts – fights, shootouts, ratchets, car chases; Special effects techniques; Special effects make up techniques;) which plays an important role when creating a schedule or follow one when involved in a project. Skills and knowledge to provide a realistic shooting schedule by collecting information from the departments, putting it together and deliver it to the crew using breakdown software Movie Magic Scheduling, advanced skills in Microsoft Office. Directing background activity by giving motivation for the individual action and ensuring that the overall movement of extras and action vehicles are in an appropriate mood for the shot after coordinating with the 1st AD and confirming with the director. Supervising and managing the individual progress of talents, extras or stunts required for the shooting day making sure that make up, hair, costumes are on track with the timings for prep supporting the 2nd AD when in basecamp. Organizing logistics and providing information to the crew when changing location. My main objective as an AD is to create a collaborative artistic and working environment for cast and crew which will provide energetic shooting process and achieve the desired results for the production.
