My journey from a background in electronics and programming to print was driven by solving a critical problem: beautiful marketing materials were being ignored because they were static and disconnected. This challenge is what drove me to become an Inventor & Patent Holder, developing solutions that embed technology directly into tangible items. We started with sound modules, then evolved to integrate LCD video screens, LEDs, and patented WebUSB mechanisms that turn a business card into a key that unlocks a digital world. Our technology is built on a philosophy of constant innovation. Secure NFC: We developed patented shielded NFC technology that requires a mailer to be physically opened before the chip can be read, ensuring intentional engagement and adding a layer of security and intrigue. Advanced Synthetic Media Print Processes: This is where we truly push boundaries. It’s our groundbreaking capability for Variable Finish Printing (VFP), allowing us to apply unique, personalized raised foil and varnish textures to every single item in a print run. It’s technology that creates one-of-a-kind tactile experiences at scale. This vision for the future of marketing—one where print is an experience, not just a message—is what led me to successfully pitch and secure a $400k deal with legendary Dragon, Jim Treliving, on Season 10 of CBC's Dragons' Den.
