A skilled Architect who has more than twenty years of varied experience in design and construction. He is currently working with Arabian Construction Company in Emaar Fountain Views Project. Previously, he worked with Al Habtoor Group LLC in its Al Habtoor City Project as Senior Architect / Resident Architect. He worked with Obayashi Qatar LLC in its Msheireb Down Town Doha-Phase 3 Project, a mixed use (residential, hotel and commercial) project as Design Manager. Prior to this, he worked with Obayashi Corporation-Middle East in its Dubai Metro Project as Senior Architect/Senior Design&Sustainability Coordinator where he served for more than four years till project completion. Previously he worked with Atkins Middle East-Sharjah office as Principal Architect where he led a team doing design and design development preparations for the Qatar Education City projects under Qatar Foundation. Prior to this he worked as Technical Coordinator cum Assistant Engineering Manager for China State Construction in its Icon Twin Tower Residential Condominium Project in Makati, Philippines. He has also worked with MIDMAC Contracting LLC in Doha Qatar in its Texas A & M University – Doha Education City Project under DCCD Engineering Corporation as Senior Architect where he led a team doing design and shop drawings review and coordination. In the early part of his career, he worked with an Architectural & Engineering design and project management firm where he worked for a total of nine years doing varied projects from institutional, health, commercial and high rise residential projects where he spent most of his time doing concepts design, managing design development preparation and construction management.
Duties & Responsibilities: • Reports to the project director. • Assist and advise the project director on engineering & technical matters. • Review and coordinate shop drawings and technical submittal and forward to consultant for approval. • Attend technical meetings with project consultants • Issue project brief and required IFC documents to subcontractors and suppliers • Conduct technical workshops with subcontractors & suppliers for technical clarifications • Review method statements and coordinate/advise requirements with QA/QC team • Coordinate and advise requirements across all engineering disciplines • Supervise preparations of shop drawings for coordination and consultants’ approval. • Conduct periodic site visit for coordination. • All other technical functions that may be assigned by the Project Director.

Duties & Responsibilities: • Reports to the director of projects. • Assist and advise the director of projects on architectural related matters. • Coordinate designs by ID consultants and review design submission for implementation. • Handles ID design works for St. Regis Hotel, to include material selection and submittal review and approval. • Attend technical meetings with project consultants • Issue project brief and required IFC documents to subcontractors and suppliers • Conduct technical workshops with subcontractors & suppliers for technical clarifications • Review method statements and coordinate/advise requirements with QA/QC team • Coordinate and advise architectural requirements across all engineering disciplines • All other technical functions that may be assigned by the project director
Project Undertaken: Msheireb Downtown Doha Project – Phase 3 (QR 2.5 Billion Mixed Use-Residential, Hotel & Commercial Project) Duties & Responsibilities: • Reports to the engineering manager • Lead a team of architects and engineers in the BIM modeling, shop drawings preparation and design coordination with construction team to ensure adherence to design intent • Conduct design review to ensure compliance with relevant code requirements and supervised preparation of required RFIs • Attend technical meetings with project consultants • Issue project brief and required IFC documents to subcontractors and suppliers • Conduct technical workshops with subcontractors & suppliers for technical clarifications • Supervise shop drawings schedule preparation based on project construction schedule • Supervise drawings log preparation and drawings and documents monitoring system • Supervise review of subcontractors shop drawings and materials submittals • Review method statements and coordinate/advise requirements with QA/QC team • Coordinate and advise architectural requirements across all engineering disciplines • Preside MEP-Civil team coordination meeting • Prepare and submit required progress reports and updates to management
Project Undertaken : Dubai Metro Project (Over Ground & Underground Stations) Duties & Responsibilities: • Reports to the design manager and provide technical support/assistance • Handled a team of architects and CAD technicians in the design coordination and shop drawings preparation • Prepare shop drawing list for implementation and monitoring system requirements • Attend MEP-Civil coordination meetings and technical meetings. • Review and coordinate Architectural shop drawings with MEP coordinated services drawings • Coordinate Architectural/Civil technical requirement with MEP and construction team to ensure that works do not deviate with design intent requirements • Review subcontractors’ shop drawings and materials submission for consultants’ review/approval • Ensure prompt submission of shop drawings for consultants review and approval to align with site shop drawings requirements • Prepare and submit required progress reports • Prepare design schemes for proposed changes as required by consultant • Prepare/review RFIs and FCRs (Field Change Request) • Collate and review subcontractors’ As Built drawings submission and oversee submission to client as per contract requirements
Projects Undertaken: Various Qatar Education City Projects: • West Car Park • Southeast Car Park • Central Plant Buildings • Tram Station Duties & Responsibilities: • Reports and work closely with the Line Manager/Design Managers • Lead a team of architects and CAD technicians in the preparation of design development and contract documents for the various education city projects • Conduct design review to ensure compliance with the relevant code requirements • Prepare design concepts and supervise architectural design preparation • Study and introduce innovative design ideas that can be integrated in the design process • Provide liaison with all relevant engineering disciplines to coordinate architectural design requirements with engineering design • Liaise with the proposed materials manufacturers to coordinate specifications requirements • Attend design review workshops with other engineering consultants • Provide liaison with the clients’ project manager/consultants to ensure compliance to clients requirements • Prepare/supervise preparation of deliverables monitoring list and progress charts • Prepare and submit required progress reports • Ensure quality design and deliverables for the client’s satisfaction • Ensure prompt submission of required deliverables as outlined in the project schedule
