Customers included leading mining and construction companies such as Caterpillar, Barrick, Bechtel, Kiewit, Goldcorp, Vinci, and Bouygues. ✰ Supported post-acquisition integration efforts for Redbird employees, partners, and customers ✰ Negotiated Airware’s largest SaaS deals in Construction & Mining ✰ Built a global network of 30 distributors across 70+ countries and 15 US states, including reseller negotiations, onboarding, and sales support ✰ Helped grow channel sales to 50% of company revenue in Airware’s final year In 2018, Delair acquired Airware’s key assets, including Redbird’s cloud platform and Paris-based team.
I co-founded and led Redbird, an early pioneer in commercial drone data analytics. Its cloud software helped mining and construction companies use drone data to optimize resources, improve productivity, and ensure site safety. As CEO, I led growth strategy, business development, marketing, communications, and investor relations. ✰ Grew the team from 0 to 40 people ✰ Raised $3.2M in seed funding from private investors and corporate VCs ✰ Generated $2M in annual revenue through first-of-their-kind enterprise engagements in Construction, Utilities, and Transportation ✰ Signed a landmark exclusive partnership with Caterpillar, the world’s largest construction equipment manufacturer ✰ Developed advanced machine-learning analytics tailored to industrial use cases Redbird was acquired by San Francisco-based Airware in September 2016.
Alderys is a leading Paris-based greentech startup developing disruptive synthesis for the mass production of chemical compounds by genetically engineered microorganisms. Alderys was founded by world-renowned scientific designers and entrepreneurs Dominique Thomas and Philippe Marliere. I was in charge of business planning, corporate marketing, and long-term partnerships with major industrial players in the chemical/biotech industry (ChemChina-Adisseo, Michelin, Lesaffre & more). I also supported the CEO in our $10M Series A fundraise. The company was acquired by Givaudan (SWX: GIVN) in 2020.
