My main task is to implement new systems to replace manual works in UOB Indonesia. I also need to review the guidelines with our current practice, and refer to Bank of Indonesia regulations. My main tasks includes: • Review and align the products, services, systems, and processes in UOB Indonesia to UOB Group • Assess any business implications in adopting UOB Group systems, frameworks, or processes, with relevant parties • Perform functional study for system specification • Perform data mapping for system migration • Liaise with IT team in performing system design and configuration • Perform User Acceptance Test (UAT) and Mock Run • Conduct regular meeting with all related parties to discuss any issues arising from the system and find the solution for it • Communicate to management regarding status updates and escalate key issues and risks (if any) • Prepare user manuals and training materials and deliver them to key users • Support other ad-hoc projects from other divisions that relates to Finance
During my MADP program, I was briefed to key functions in banking such as: loan, deposit, treasury, trade, branch operation, risk management, and finance. I was also given soft skill training, such as leadership, creative thinking, problem solving and presentation skill. As part of MADP program, I was attached to Finance division for On the Job Training. My main responsibilities and achievements includes: - Review cost allocation methodology used by the bank and find more accurate method in allocating cost from supporting units to business units - Prepare daily financial report (Flash Report) for management to update them with the latest financial position of the bank - Analyze bank performance by comparing actual achievement vs target, loan & deposit volume, net interest margin, fee income, etc - Analyze bank performance compared to competitors through several key indicators (NIM, LDR, CAR, BOPO, NPL, third party fund composition, etc) - Analyze return on loan and cost of fund per product - Forecast bank performance and growth for the next month and quarter, to support management in decision making process - Involved in budget establishment for bankwide; consolidate and critically examine budget estimation raised by branches and all departments
