I lead the Enterprise Ireland's second largest overseas team focused on the German speaking region- with offices in Dusseldorf & Munich. Our team of sector exports support businesses through business development and brokering introductions to companies in the German speaking markets.

With a budget of Euro 400 Million per annum, Enterprise Ireland invests in, promotes and internationalizes the best of the Irish indigenous Industry. The Agency also has the remit of being "the start-up Agency" and is one of the largest investors in start-ups in Ireland in terms of deal flow. Manager of the Boston Office with US wide responsibilities for: - Managing the economic development and growth of exports of Irish companies into the US markets from the sectors: Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals, Cleantech & Energy/Oil and Gas. - Consulting and for and advising high technology companies on market strategy in the US.- Advising founders and CEO of start-up companies on and connecting companies with VC, Angel and Private investment in the US. - Assisting Irish companies in setting up permanent establishments in the US. - Forging links between Irish and US companies and channeling partnering opportunities to Irish industry. - Representing Enterprise Ireland and Ireland Inc on Irish Government Trade Missions, (Taoiseach) Prime Minister & Government Minister visits. - Promoting Ireland Inc. - Leading a team with regional and office management responsibility.

IDA Ireland is the Industrial and Development Agency for Ireland. IDA is the Government Agency with the mandate to attract foreign investment to Ireland. Responsible for promoting Ireland as an investment location to CEOs & senior management of corporates in Germany, Italy, Switzerland & Austria. Direct responsibility for negotiating foreign direct investment projects of multi-national and "Mittelstand" companies from Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Austria. At various times held responsibility for managing the high tech, software, ICT sectors and Life Science Sectors. Built up relationships with and successfully negotiated at Board and C Suite with large Multinationals and CEO level of SME's. Companies & investment projects included: Novartis, Roche, SAP, Infineon, Bayer, Siemens, Menarini & Telecom Italia.
