Just been back to Perth, Western Australia after the Covid-19 pandemic and undertaking freelancing work in Malaysia on project management and consultancy in geotechnics, structural assessment, reviewing movements monitoring, and rehabilitation (Forensic Investigation); voluntary serving an NGO, Malaysian Services Provider Confederation (MSPC) as a Technical Consultant and a facilitator with the Institution of Engineers Malaysia Training for Engineer’s Code of Ethics/Regulations course. Currently back in Perth on contract works, undertaking site monitoring work for earthworks and clay liner placement of the Wastewater Treatment Plant in Kalgoorlie and others geotechnical investigation works in WA. Previously as a Site Engineer undertaking construction of a tailing dam and various projects on a gold mine in north Sulawesi, Indonesia and later assisted a mining contractor as their Site Manager, providing management consultancy. Has also been involved in the review of the Proposed Roy Hill Railway Project materials borrow pits. Has done some FIFO schedules to mine sites, iron ore railway line construction sites in Western Australia as a Site Project Geotechnical Engineer supporting PMC teams. Carry out soil investigation works and their interpretation report in Australia. Registered Chartered Professional Civil Engineer with Engineers Australia and Board of Engineers Malaysia, Registered ASEAN and APEC Engineer with over 35 years of experience in civil, infrastructures and geotechnical design, office and site management. More than 20 years in office management and design. More than 10 years of site project management, liaison, coordination and supervision. The fields covered is given in my field of expertise below. Enjoy engaged in business development, team leadership, mentoring junior staff, innovative propositions, project management and co-ordination of technical teams. Have experience in geophysical field works which include offshore seismic tomographic testing. My work encompasses me to undertake works in the United Kingdom, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and Indonesia.
