An experienced leader, specializing in employee relations and the wellbeing of people. Whether I am busy negotiating wages with the most testing of trade unions, or negotiating lunch with my children, there is no task assigned to me that I do not engage in wholeheartedly. Having successfully dealt with notoriously militant trade unions, as well as various political parties trying to destabilize the country through its association to one of these trade unions, I have managed to amass a wealth of experience in a tremendously political environment. I have represented various organisations in more than 300 cases at employment dispute tribunals across South Africa where I have attained a sucess rate in excess of 98%. I have yet to find a mission that I am not up to and invite you to challenge my abilities, but only if you wish to add value to your organisation.

Created a working environment in which employees were trained, developed and groomed for promotion. Organised and planned functional activities. Anticipated needs, forecasted results, analysed and organised work processes and procedures, and delegated assignments and/or work tasks for results. ACHIEVEMENTS I managed the team assigned to the handling of Swiss International where, in 2012, we attained the status of making Johannesburg the top ranked station in its worldwide network. I successfully spearheaded the project of setting up the British Airways Comair and Bidair Services passenger services ground handling contract.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Solely responsible for the Employment Relations at Bidvest Steiner, Bidvest Vericon, Bidtrack, UAV & Drone Solutions & BIDAir Cargo, where I was tasked with providing guidance and training to the various levels of management within these organisations in terms of employee relations. Preparing for and representing the organisations at employment tribunals nationally. Liaising, meeting and consulting with the trade unions on matters relating to Organisational Rights and Collective Bargaining. Constructing and implementing policies and procedures within the organisations and preparing and submitting monthly and quarterly reports. ACHIEVEMENTS I managed various strikes within the mentioned organisations, with the most notable being a strike by the National Association of South African Workers (NASA-Workers) in 2021 which, notwithstanding lasting 3 months, resulted in financial benefit to the organisation, and saw a significant decline in union representativity and extended labour peace. I represented the organisations in more than 200 cases at employment dispute tribunals nationally, culminating in a success rate exceeding 98%.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES I was responsible for managing the Employment Relations of the organisation with a total headcount of circa 4800 staff. ACHIEVEMENTS Apart from representing the organisation in more than 100 cases at employment tribunals nationally and achieving a 100% success rate, I was able to do this whilst dealing with hostile witnesses, represented by the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (AMCU), who was most noted for its involvement in the 2012 Marikana massacre.
