• Participated in seminars provided by entrepreneurs, business people and investors, and received training sessions regarding enterpreneurship. • Developed a project in order to find solutions on the global of "Zero Hunger", which was the second of the sustainable development goals determined by the United Nations. • Researched and scanned scientific articles, collected information to support the project, and investigated the matter of hunger which is a global problem. • Proposed vertical farming as a solution for increasing hunger problem all around the globe and maintained promotion activities in social media and internet to raise awareness and increase participation. • Presented the project to the investors, it was selected among five projects which received investments by BAYER AG (German Multinational Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology Company) and was put into implementation.
Vertie addresses the issue of decreasing agricultural land as a result of increasing urbanization and thus decreasing productivity. With the vertical farming sets we created specifically for middle school children, parents and schools, we enable children to learn through experience and raise their awareness.
I voluntarily gave regular weekly lessons to middle school students to help them improve their English level.
