About

Throughout my career, I've been motivated by opportunities to help organizations achieve better outcomes through software engineering, engineering practices, and engineering governance. That motivation has led me through software development, architecture, engineering leadership, organizational transformation, technical due diligence, and executive leadership across organizations ranging from startups to global software companies. I've found over the years that successful software organizations rarely struggle because of a single technical problem. More often, success depends on making sound engineering decisions while balancing customer commitments, business priorities, product strategy, organizational capability, technical risk, and long-term software quality. I've worked to help organizations navigate those decisions and the inevitable tradeoffs that arise. Today my work continues to focus on engineering leadership, engineering governance, technical risk management, and balancing customer commitments, product strategy, engineering capacity, and long-term software quality in the delivery of enterprise software.
