Dr. Essam Bukhary is a leader with a mission to inspire and empower talents across the globe. With a wealth of experience in technology, media, and cultural exchange, Dr. Bukhary has built a reputation as a visionary leader, innovator, and strategist. Dr. Bukhary's career includes founding and building three successful organizations from scratch, taking them to new heights and achieving remarkable success regionally and globally. Currently, he serves as the CEO of Manga Productions, a subsidiary of the MiSK Foundation. He is also the Co-Chairman of the Executive Committee for Mohammed bin Salman Center for Future Science and Technology at the University of Tokyo, and the Editor-in-Chief of Manga Arabia. Prior to his current roles, Dr. Bukhary served as the Saudi Cultural Attaché to Japan for 7 years, where he became the first foreign diplomat to win the Japanese Foreign Minister prize twice. Additionally, he held the position of Chief Advisor to the Chairman at SNK and served as a board member at various private and public organizations. Dr. Bukhary holds a PhD in international studies in the field of technology and innovation management, as well as an M.A. and B.A in industrial and system management engineering from Waseda University in Japan.
Manga Productions is a subsidiary of MiSK Foundation. Its activities focus on animations and comics productions, video games development, investments and human capital development in addition to IP licensing and distribution.
