Founder (1994) and Director of the Krakow Medical Centre (KMC) up to 2020, Senior Medical Director in FutureMeds. Practising medical doctor with a 51-year experience, scientist and community benefactor. Under his direction KMC received international recognition. As the KMC director he handled 180 trials, in which 2,700 patients were enrolled. A PI in 58 trials (46 in osteoporosis). Almost all FDA-approved osteoporosis medications were tested in KMC. Organizer of 25 congresses in Poland, including the World Congress on Osteoporosis in 2018, and the forthcoming 8th Central European Congress on Osteoporosis. Prof. Czerwinski's current international memberships include Scientific Committees of IOF, EULAR, EFORT and He is an editorial board member of 12 scientific magazines. He was invited to the faculty of International Society for Clinical Research summits in Poland (2017), Hungary, London, and the USA (2018, 2019). He has been involved in the research of bone and joint diseases for 48 years, first focusing on fluorosis and for 29 years on osteoporosis. Prof. Czerwinski is one of the pioneers of osteoporosis research in Poland. He has led to a number of projects in the field of epidemiology, diagnostics and fracture treatment. Under his direction Krakow Medical Centre received international recognition and he was invited to faculty of International Society for Clinical Reseach summits in Poland (2017), Hungary, London and USA (2018, 2019). Irrespective of his commercial activities, he conducts scientific research and health promotion endeavours. He is an editorial board member of several scientific magazines as well as a member of Polish and international scientific societies; winner of the prestigious International Foundation of Osteoporosis 2015 award.
