I’m a social and serial entrepreneur who transforms bold ideas into sustainable ventures. As Founder & CEO of Dylan Kendall LLC, I built an internationally recognized consumer products company — scaling a global supply chain and placing products with retailers from Bed Bath & Beyond to boutiques across ten countries. For more than a decade, I grew the business from concept to a brand carried worldwide, establishing myself as a female founder with a proven ability to scale. I also founded Hollywood Arts, an educational nonprofit that disrupts chronic homelessness by helping homeless adults build self-esteem and job readiness skills through arts-based learning. Later, as VP of Brand Strategy at the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, I modernized IP licensing, launched new digital revenue streams, and recovered hundreds of thousands in unclaimed revenue around the Hollywood Sign and Walk of Fame. Most recently, I launched Grow Hollywood — Hollywood’s first creative economy initiative designed to attract international investment and prepare the district for the 2028 Olympics. Today, I’m running for Los Angeles City Council (District 13) to bring pragmatic, creative leadership to local government — ensuring Hollywood and its neighboring communities thrive as places to live, work, and create. Beyond leadership roles, I mentor entrepreneurs, teach business skills to incarcerated men and women through Defy Ventures, and am a foster mom. Recognized by Ashoka, the BMW Foundation, and international media, I believe lasting change happens at the intersection of creativity, equity, and bold leadership. Working with a group of change agents to build supportive educational and mental wellness programming through arts-learning into the current County-wide supportive housing system using the wok of Hollywood Arts as Proof of Concept. Housing alone is not the solution and this is the approach currently challenging Inside Safe. Housing must include by-choice programming that participants volunteer to take part in. Based on my work with Hollywood Arts in 2005, we've seen that arts-based education ignites intrinsic learning motivation which moves people into participation. Classes teach arts skills while simultaneously developing supportive community; managing trauma and depression; and teaching soft and vocational skills which transfer into employment readiness effectively disrupting the street to charity cycle and ending chronic homelessness.
