When I joined Tranquility Inc., I wasn't handed a codebase, I was handed a problem: how do you help founders go from scattered idea to structured, investable roadmap using AI? I worked on the production backend built on FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Celery, contributing to the Stripe-integrated subscription system with feature gating across three tiers EXPLORER, BUILDER, and SCALE. The most complex work was on the AI layer. I built a multi-agent pipeline using LangGraph, coordinating 8 specialized agents that each handle a distinct job: market analysis, founder-fit scoring, roadmap generation, and more. Each agent leverages Cohere LLMs and Qdrant vector search with FastEmbed to deliver personalized, context-aware guidance, not generic output. Then came the streaming problem. Long-running LLM jobs don't fit neatly into a request-response model. I engineered a real-time SSE streaming system backed by Redis pub/sub that delivers responses as they generate, without blocking the client. The tricky part was eliminating race conditions between job completion signals and active stream connections, which I solved through careful event sequencing and connection state management.
