Conducted applied statistical analysis for a policy-tech client (Peloria) on an 8-month commitment, building zone-level panel datasets on conflict, food prices, and climate to study internal displacement in the DRC. Estimated fixed-effects regression models and developed machine-learning forecasts of IDP flows, reducing out-of-sample prediction error by approximately 50% through the incorporation of lagged displacement dynamics. Synthesized findings into bi-weekly briefings and a final report, identifying conflict intensity and food prices as the most impactful push-pull drivers of displacement.
Worked as a research assistant on a joint UNCTAD, Georgetown, and Stanford research project testing microfinancing models to optimize lithium battery adoption in Bangladesh's 3-wheeler EV sector. Worked in conjunction with research teams, BRAC Microfinance, and two electronics firms on creating the standard operating procedures, data sharing protocols, marketing and sales script materials, and pilot design. Further conducted interviews with local Bangladeshi 3-wheeler EV garage owners on a willingness-to-pay study for lithium batteries, as well as interest in being a battery distributor for the RCT.
- Managed operations for two concurrently sailing European ships carrying up to 320 passengers weekly, operating across 8 different countries. - Promoted after the first 4 months for efficient performance to manage a second ship, expanding work to 3 new countries and establishing working relationships with 4 new international suppliers. - Coordinated logistics on long-term projects with clients, hotels, ship staff, and international suppliers in over 10 European cities regarding budgeting, feasibility, planning, and implementation, securing client business on two projects cumulatively generating over $600,000 in revenue.
