Using advanced machine learning techniques, I led research into exploring the clinical outcomes of anti-dsDNA IgG+IgA1+IgA2+ patients, alongside my medicine degree. This led to a poster presentation titled 'Triple-positive IgG, IgA1, and IgA2 anti-dsDNA autoantibodies identify a high-risk subgroup in refractory SLE' at the 15th European Lupus Meeting in Lisbon.

    • iBSc Researcher
      Sep 2024 - Jun 2025 · 10 mos

    • London Area, United Kingdom · On-site
Using an in-house ELISA and advanced machine learning techniques, such as a boruta random forest model, I found that anti-dsDNA IgA2 positivity is associated with active SLE flare. My dissertation on this subject won the 'Professor David Katz Award for Best Dissertation Presentation'.

    • Student Researcher via Rani Rawji Studentship
      Jun 2024 - Aug 2024 · 3 mos

Investigating the presence of anti-dsDNA IgA2 in SLE patients using ELISAs and how this relates to patient outcomes in the Ehrenstein lab, through the Rani Rawji studentship programme.
