As a Data Engineer at DICK'S Sporting Goods, I apply my passion for implementing strategic systems to enable data-driven decision making and improve business performance. I work with distributed cluster computing frameworks such as Apache Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Sqoop to manage and process large volumes of data from various sources and formats. I also leverage my skills in data science tools such as Pandas, Sklearn, Mlib, and Kubeflow to build and deploy scalable machine learning models and pipelines. I collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the nuances and goals of the organization and industry, and to deliver solutions that meet their needs and expectations. My education background from The Ohio State University, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in 2018, and my certifications in Data Science and Applied Data Science with Python, have equipped me with the theoretical and practical knowledge to excel in this role.

I spent my time at managing website making sure all the pieces were consistent and up to date. I also wrote blogs and sent out monthly emails to all past and present clients to keep them updated and grow relationships. I also spent time in meetings getting to the business and the goals of the organization so that we could improve marketing tactics. May - August 2017
