I am currently enrolled at the University of Phoenix, pursuing an Associate of Arts (AA) degree with a concentration in Business Fundamentals. I have a GPA of 3.87 and will complete my AA program in August 2026. After finishing my program, I plan to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. I have made the Dean's List for the last three semesters and recently became a fully nominated member of the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). Since starting at the university, I have learned a wide variety of skills, as outlined below. I currently work at A to Z Drying, a company that prides itself on customer satisfaction, continuous improvements, and meeting all requirements. Since I began working here as a line lead, I have had the great opportunity to collaborate with a diverse group of people. I have learned the importance of teamwork, effective leadership, and communication. Before working at A to Z Drying, I was employed at Dollar General for a short period as an assistant manager. In this role, I learned the fundamentals of cash handling, balancing drawers, and leading a team of up to four people. I also had the opportunity to work directly with management, which helped me develop essential skills in leadership and customer service to enhance the store's operations. Before I worked at Dollar General, my first job was at Randy's Grocery Store. I started as a cashier and quickly advanced to department manager of the produce section within just a year. During this time, I learned the fundamentals of the retail business, including working with various vendors, managing numbers, improving sales, handling inventory, and acquiring many other skills related to retail and leadership.
