I have 15 years of experience managing and influencing teams across multiple domains and industries - scientific research, engineering, turnarounds, strategy consulting, sales ops, and partnerships. I specialize in using a first-principles approach to bring clarity and structure to new initiatives, and have a deep understanding of the tradeoffs between strategy and execution.
Within horizontal business applications org I manage partnerships with some of the most prolific SaaS application providers. Together with our partners we strive to provide the best business application experience on AWS. I'm also responsible for creating some of the largest partner and most successful strategic initiatives in the AWS partner organization.
Managed a cross-functional team to cover the strategy & operations of IBM/Red Hat, VMware, SAP, Oracle, SUSE, and Canonical. Grew co-sell alignment, marketplace engagement, and product integrations. Developed AWS strategy for VMware transition. Developed 4 SCAs with partners, including 2 as the primary developer and 2 in advisory roles.

I worked on the expansion of Amazon's last-mile delivery network (those Amazon vans and the facilities that dispatch them). My project focused on enhancing the productivity and flow of the Delivery Stations.
Business development and consulting around infrastructure TCO optimization as well as ML driven predictive maintenance and workforce design. After being acquired by Stantec, we focused on 1) business optimization for Stantec's existing client portfolio, and 2) digital transformation for CAPEX-intensive organizations. This is the job were I built an trained a rudimentary neural net in Excel. I used the enhanced solver (evolutionary) and optimized a 2000 node neural network against 20,000 labelled infrastructure assets to determine factors that lead to higher failure rates. The results were back checked against failure trends with a 84% accuracy.
I joined a boutique consulting firm started by BCG alum. The firm focused on strategy for CAPEX-heavy organizations. In this role I created an integrated planning process to prioritize infrastructure investment across multiple divisions of a major City, and optimized G&A processes for a rapidly expanding team at a semiconductor fab. (The firm was a subsidiary of MWH Global. Both of which were acquired by Stantec in 2017)
I was part of a launch team to rebuild the infrastructure and organization for a major water reclamation facility. During this time I led weekly program management meetings for a portfolio of consulting studies, established team integration programs when the client group was growing 30% YoY. I also designed business processes to help govern $1.4 billion of capital spending.
After obtaining my California PE License (C81437), I expanded my practice area to projects in multiple states.
I planned, designed, and constructed water, wastewater, and recycled water infrastructure for utilities in Northern California.
