Working as part of Workplace Services Business Management, within NAB Technology Operations. ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Completed the Wealth Management (MLC) Datashare Ownership project whereby I was able to identify & assign ownership to 900 previously unowned/unmanaged Active Directory groups. This initiative was instigated to mitigate a significant risk. I received high praise for my work on this project. • Achieved significant ongoing cost-savings by identifying & transferring billed assets held by ex-Workplace Services resources (eg. mobile phones, datacards, blackberries, ipad’s etc) into the correct cost-centres. • Successfully implemented a simplified Workplace Services Teamplay (timesheet) structure which led to the rationalization of activities from 80 down to 38, enabling easier management & more relevant reporting. • Reviewed Workplace Services FTE reporting, identified structural & individual anomalies then drove the required corrections. This produced improved reporting & allowed more accurate FTE forecasting. • Performed analytical review of the Intellisync service where I was able to confirm only 40 active users from an original list of 175. This led to significant cost-savings via discontinuing inactive services.
Working as part of Business Management, within NAB Technology Operations. ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Achieved cost savings of approx. $289,000 by completing a review of TOps workspace usage, presenting recommendations for remediation to the TOps Leadership Team & implementing the necessary changes. • Established a successful governance health assessment process which measured forum effectiveness & identified focus areas to enhance forum performance, better meet business requirements & ensure that forum attendees time is spent most effectively. • Successfully implemented an agreed forward schedule for our vendor (IBM / Telstra) governance forums, which resulted in getting greater value from our forums as they now best-fit the availability of reporting as well as allowing for logical information flow between related forums. • Re-designed the Telstra Balanced Scorecard, consolidating it to a 1-page format to better highlight the more relevant metrics & provide a more logical, user-focused view of performance. • Improved the logistics of how we govern the MLC contract with IBM. This involved re-branding the forum, negotiating a new forum schedule, amending the Balanced Scorecard reporting to reflect changes & negotiating the handover of secretariat duties to IBM. • Led a piece of work to uplift the TOps Intranet. Realised benefits include; removal of obsolete pages, enhancements to homepage useability (broken URL’s & page linkage errors rectified) & review of all linked pages to ensure currency / relevancy.
Working as part of Service Management, within NAB Technology Operations. ACCOMPLISHMENTS • Successfully protected production services by ensuring 100% compliance to design, testing & production policies which ensured packages were effectively transitioned into production with zero incidents. • Designed & implemented a fix in the Compliance Tracking Database which repaired a gap in our reporting metrics. This enhancement enabled accurate reporting on projects which had multiple non-compliances & enabled the team to document their successes in preventing problem implementations. • Engaged & gained buy-in from key stakeholders across TOps for the transition towards establishing a Release Management methodology. I achieved this by chairing a series of forums/discussion groups where the process was discussed & agreed. • Successfully implemented Master Change records within the release management framework. This enabled improved tracking of a Project or Asset Release by allowing identification & quality checking of the associated child change records. It also enabled more efficient bundling of like change records.
