As a trusted leader in the cybersecurity domain, my life mission is to construct and maintain robust digital defenses, particularly in complex technological environments. Advising on difficult balances such as risk management & business oppertunity and cost & benefit. I executed comprehensive Cyber Resilience programs focussed on securing critical digital assets and enhancing the security architecture of the organisation. My role extends to sharing this expertise at Solvay Lifelong Learning, fostering professional growth in the next generation of cybersecurity experts.
• (co)Developed and organized a course on security control frameworks and cyber posture management for Solvay Lifelong Learning, enhancing participants' knowledge and skills. • Presented as a guest speaker on security architecture topics, sharing expertise and insights with the audience. • Collaborated with Solvay Brussels School of Economics & Management to deliver high-quality educational content and promote professional development.
• Directed Global Digital security programs for 50+ entities, enhancing Cyber resilience through policy steering and compliance monitoring. • Led Privileged Access Management program for IT, shared business centers, and Alarm Operating Centers. • Managed a budget of 14 M€ and oversaw a team of 45 FTEs to support security controls implementation. Deputy Group CDSO - Major Incident handling. * Build out and collaborate with the 30+ Security Officers throughout the group.
• Led the development of Cyber Resilience programs for 55+ IT entities and 45 Alarm Operating Centers, resulting in a more secure digital environment. • Established a Global Digital Security Operations department, including a Cyber SOC and PAM practice, to enhance security measures. • Managed a budget of approximately 5 M€ and oversaw a team of 20 FTEs to support the implementation of security controls. * Build out and collaborate with the 30+ Security Officers throughout the group.
Responsible for teams, & services delivering "Technical Security services" to the market. This includes the different steps from Security Service Strategy, Design, built , deploy and optimisation.
• Provided Cyber Security advisory to support the CIO/CISO in risk assessment and security policy framework definition. • Led teams in Priviliged Access Management (PAM), Detection & Response, and Enterprise Security Architecture. • Managed a team of 15 with a focus on utilities and public sector in Europe.
In my role as a Manager at PwC Belgium in Brussels, I led security architecture projects and managed the CISO office for complex international organizations. I specialized in Privileged Management initiatives and building technological Security Capabilities, working on cross-functional programs and M&A strategies for IT and business projects.
