• maintaining investor engagement with top credit rating agencies as well as portfolio and fund managers, real-money investors and international financial institutions • building and shaping the external narrative by following closely the global and domestic macroeconomic policies, trends and developments • following up with investors and credit rating agencies by way of data and information provision and investor presentations • monitoring data and preparing briefs about areas of responsibility; using Bloomberg systems and tools for data reporting and comparison • drafting legal documents or providing legal opinion for the government policies that impact investor engagement
• organizing and coordinating the official visits of the Minister and senior management, including dealing with administrative, logistical and technical matters • preparing speech notes, briefs, country reports and in-house reports; doing research on global matters for the Minister and senior management • maintaining official correspondence of the Ministry with foreign counterparts • coordinating the relations between the Ministry and the OECD, OECD – SIGMA, IMF and the World Bank; arranging the meetings of the Minister to be held under annual meetings of these organizations • coordinating relevant negotiation chapters between Turkey and the EU • coordinating Fiscalis 2020 Programme run by the European Commission; handling routine financial and administrative matters regarding Turkey’s participation in the Programme; organizing national and international events under the Programme • writing articles in areas of interest for the journals of the Ministry; proof-reading and editing the articles • attending the meetings of the Minister and senior management as interpreter upon request • coordinating the translation of relevant EU legislation into Turkish and attending meetings as the contact person of the Ministry of Finance
• doing research on the use of soft operational research methods and problem structuring in the defence setting
• management of Regional Facility for International Cooperation and Partnership Programme for Latin America and the Caribbean • drafting documents for and assisting the organization of EU-CELAC Seminar on Gender Equality and Women's Economic Empowerment
• doing research for the “E- Transformation Turkey Project” executed in cooperation with (then) State Planning Organization on the programmes and projects promoting the use of ICT by SMEs
