Delivered Vietnamese language instruction to expats, foreign professionals, and Vietnamese diaspora (Viet Kieu), including business owners and educators from diverse international backgrounds. Classes were conducted one-on-one and in groups, both online and in person, using English and Vietnamese alongside customized lesson plans and interactive edtech tools. Built and grew a learning platform through YouTube and social media, creating educational content, engaging learners, and independently acquiring students through organic outreach and referrals.
I later transitioned into a Marketing Assistant role, supporting a team responsible for Japanese corporate clients. In this role, I worked directly with primarily corporate clients, including Japanese companies, and coordinated across underwriting, accounting, claims, and policy processing teams to ensure smooth and timely service delivery. I participated in client meetings, supporting communication, documentation, and follow-up actions. This required clear communication, responsiveness, and attention to detail to ensure client needs were accurately addressed. I worked closely with internal teams to resolve client inquiries, manage documentation, and support policy-related processes, ensuring alignment across departments and minimizing delays. This experience strengthened my ability to operate in client-facing environments, collaborate across teams, and support international clients in a cross-cultural context while maintaining high standards of accuracy and execution.
I joined the company as a Policy Processing Executive and was later promoted to Senior Policy Processing Executive. I started my career in insurance operations, where there is no room for error. For over five years, I worked in policy processing for non-life insurance products, supporting Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese marketing teams. I handled high-volume, time-sensitive requests across cargo, marine, liability, motor, health, golf, and property insurance. The standard was simple but demanding: accuracy, speed, and accountability. I was trusted to manage complex cases, resolve discrepancies, and deliver policies under tight deadlines, especially in situations where delays could directly impact clients. This experience built a strong foundation in attention to detail, problem-solving, and performing under pressure. My role required close coordination with accounting, sales, marketing, and claims teams. Over time, I became a reliable point of contact across departments, helping ensure smooth execution and consistent results.
