Over 20 years experience in manufacturing including 12 years in the fastener industry. I'am proficient in lean manufacturing, EHS, ASTME, ISO, IFI and API. Played strong roll in building and implementing a value stream that produces high margin, quick turn around, specialty manufacturers components for the oil, gas and energy industry.
Manage and oversee all aspects of the CNC, Manual Machine, Forge and HTC departments. Overseeing environmental health and safety, scheduling, productivity, cost reduction, tooling, cross trianing and team work.
Setup and operated over twenty five different CNC Turning Centers. Machined and operated a broad spectrum of machines completing fast turn around and high volumes of parts. Manufactured the most challenging customer requirements. Machined parts from metals such as carbon steel, castings and forgings, stainless steels, High temp alloys, brass aluminum, copper, plastics, and etc. Responsible for training new employees on how to and understand calipers, comparators, programs, and work instructions. Tasked with insuring jobs were setup and operating at a high efficiency.
