About

I build systems, lead teams, and help people find their footing in complicated places — whether that's a creative agency managing eight simultaneous client engagements or a leader trying to figure out what comes next. For the past two years I've served as Project & Operations Manager at Artistry Labs, a boutique creative agency specializing in church branding partnerships. I came in to help bring structure to a complex, fast-moving environment — and ended up redesigning the delivery framework, building a custom AI-augmented task management system from the ground up, and running weekly capacity planning across a team of designers, developers, copywriters, and strategists. The work is operational at its core, but it lives at the intersection of creativity, strategy, and execution — which is where I do my best work. Before that, I spent twenty-plus years in church leadership — planting churches, leading organizations, managing budgets, building teams, and developing leaders. That background gave me something most PM training doesn't: the ability to work with people in high-stakes, high-ambiguity environments where the infrastructure is often being built in real time and the margin for error is low. I'm also a published author. My book The Wilderness Way is written for people navigating hard seasons — spiritually, personally, professionally. It grew out of my own experience leading through uncertainty, and it reflects the same conviction that runs through everything I do: that you can flourish in complicated places without waiting for them to resolve first. These days I do leadership coaching as well — working with leaders who are carrying weight no one else sees and trying to figure out how to move forward with clarity. My faith shapes how I show up in that work, but the work itself is for anyone trying to lead well in a life that doesn't move in straight lines. If you're looking for a PM or operations leader who can build structure in unstructured environments, think strategically under pressure, and develop the people around them — I'd love to connect.

Experience

  • Founder at The Normal Pastor co
    Nov 2023 - Present · 2 yrs 8 mos

Normal Pastor Co. is a nonprofit organization in formation, built around a simple conviction: the wisdom of faithful, everyday pastors has never been fully mined — and the global Church is poorer for it. We exist to amplify that wisdom and support pastoral flourishing through publishing, community, media, and coaching. Our first book, The Wilderness Way, launched in November 2025 and serves as the opening conversation in what we're building toward — a platform for ideas over individuals, where insights forged in local faithfulness become accessible to leaders everywhere. Currently developing: Normal Pastor Coaching (launching June 2026), a second collaborative book project, and the formal nonprofit structure to sustain it all long-term.
