I am a civil engineer and designer. My best skill is working alongside great teams to produce excellent results. I enjoy solving complex organizational problems with empathy, wisdom, and grace. I am a servant leader and I care about my teams with great passion. Currently, I am using my skills at Revamp Engineering Inc. based in Oakland, CA, Northside Community Church in Knightdale, NC, and my family based in Knightdale, NC (Greater Raleigh).
Worked in the Raleigh Durham Triangle on mixed use, retail, office, solar, and hotel projects.
Providing varied experience in the civil engineering industry I am working in the Kimley-Horn (Midtown Atlanta) office and providing support to the thriving land development industry in Atlanta, GA. From small retail, tenant improvements to large high-rise, mixed-use projects, healthcare, and higher education, I have a wide range of experience. I am joining a gifted team of associates who are currently working on Atlanta's most exciting development projects, including the new Suntrust Park (Braves Stadium) and Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Falcons). My specialty is bringing high level client service to Architects, Owners, and Developers, providing detailed oversight of a project during planning/programming stages, design phases, permitting, and construction administration. I have worked in several States including, California, Tennessee, Indiana, Nevada, and Georgia (coming soon). And within those States I have worked with many City, County, and Federal jurisdictional agencies to successfully complete projects. Most importantly, I bring integrity to my work and seek to make every team better, project by project.
My responsibilities as a KPFF project manager include but are not limited to writing and negotiating proposals and fees, developing construction documents that include erosion control, grading, stormwater management, pavement, and utility planning, meeting with City representatives to obtain grading and building permits, billing and invoicing, training and mentoring KPFF staff, construction administration, responding to requests for information, and overall client interaction and satisfaction.
Developed a support team through fundraising, helping to create a community of character in Westwood by UCLA, and constructing an Ecodome for ministers to the elderly in Baja California, San Jacinto, Mexico. See our network @ www.kairos.la.
