For 12 years I worked as a credit salesperson in international banks with positions in Paris and Frankfurt. What I liked about the job was on one side the thrill of trading and on the other side the social part: building trust with clients and traders, building a network, cooperating over many years and also dealing with conflicts in the right way and with mutual respect.
• Coverage of institutional clients (asset managers, insurance companies, banks) in Flow Credit across Germany and Austria • Trading of corporate bonds (flow & illiquid, secondary & primary markets) and credit derivatives (single name CDS, indices, options) • Identification of trading opportunities • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships, including onboarding • Leadership responsibility from 2020: mentoring team members, recruiting, and client portfolio allocation • Close collaboration with Trading, Strategy and Research; organization of roadshows and events
• Coverage of own client base in Flow Credit • Support of senior sales colleagues covering large institutional clients • Increasing responsibility for client relationships and revenue generation • Strong understanding of credit markets, pricing and liquidity
