New Zealand
I served a Diesel engineering apprenticeship with the Auckland Regional Authority, but once my apprenticeship was complete I started to get bored, so I moved to a small service shop called Diesel tech. We serviced and repaired anything with wheels and did pre delivery checks for Scania. MAN started their own production shop in Avondale and I was asked to manage their CKD bus chassis and truck assembly, 6 years on I moved into the National Technical managers role for New Zealand. in 1994 Transport Specialties Ltd needed a new Product Manager and I was asked to apply, so my time with the Gough Group began. I ended up spending 13 years with Transpecs, including product management, sales management, procurement, supplier negotiations and anything else that happened along. I now manage the Palfinger business for the Gough Group
Workshop management, production management, dealer service and support, truck and bus assembly
