About

From 2023 to 2024 I was burning out my own child, all while working on the most exciting transformation programmes in the Payments Industry. I kept on going despite knowing something was wrong. I had been pushing my daughter to learn lists of words in weeks. Her tutor was pushing me and I was pushing her as a result. The worse part is I watched it happen: a bright, curious child starting to shut down. I am not someone who lets people push me around. But I had no framework to push back with... Nobody does. Because nobody tells you that this is not how vocabulary is learned. Not by parents. Not by tutors. Not by the resources we all buy believing they work. Rote memorisation does not build vocabulary. It builds anxiety. It demotivates children for life instead of making them curious about language. I know this now because I went looking for the research, thirteen peer-reviewed studies later, I had a methodology. Then I built a programme around it. That programme lives in LexiQuence. I am a VP at JPMorgan with 18 years in payments, analysis, and delivery across global banks, consulting, and fintechs. I think in strategy and systems. I solve complex problems, and the problem of how children acquire vocabulary was one of the most complex I have ever worked on, because the stakes are not mechanical. They are a child's relationship with their own mind. LexiQuence teaches children to think precisely and express ideas clearly, without lists, without flashcards... without burning them out, without getting their parents burned out all while having to lift up their children. In a world where AI does the remembering, the only edge that lasts is a child who knows how to think. Most resources are not built for that world, the one I designed, is. Parents who use it say this: "My son tells me every day about new words he has learned." Claudia U. "My daughter actively asks to learn a new word each day. Unlike traditional flashcards, it works brilliantly as a bonding activity." Janani J., professional and mum of two. "The engaging videos are particularly refreshing and the book mechanism is excellent." S. Mongia, CEO and mum of two. "An effective and thoughtfully structured approach to vocabulary acquisition with a notable emphasis on reflective learning." Vanessa P., University Lecturer.
