I enjoy my line of work and especially experiencing what new technology has to offer in the area of transmitting electricity. I am also passionate about vintage cars especially muscle cars and I like taking road trips with my wife, learning new things and solving problems.
I maintain and troubleshoot protection systems and relays, DC battery systems, communication equipment, Remote terminal units and automation equipment, metering and telemetry. I am also heavily involved in commissioning new transmission stations and upgrading existing stations with the focus being on Controls, LAN systems, SCADA, Telecommunications, Protection relays and schemes, and DC battery systems. I am also involved with upgrading Distribution Stations along with installing and maintaining revenue metering installations.
Maintenance of all bulk power transmission assets including generators, transformers, breakers, switches, DC/AC station systems including station DC batteries.
