• Managed the operation of 75 wells in the Kuparuk Field in order to optimize production, minimize well downtime, and execute effective waterflood and miscible gas recovery for reasonable cost • Evaluated the impact on approximately 1000 Kuparuk wells of the $75M non-rig wellwork program, identifying opportunity for new projects and changes in the program size • Identified, evaluated, and economically justified infill drilling opportunities and well improvement projects. Managed these projects from conception to execution with a multi-disciplinary team of geologists, geophysicists, engineers • Forecasted rate and reserves for reserves bookings, crude oil budgets, and long range plan
• Ensure company, client, state, and industry wellbore anti-collision requirements are satisfied • Conduct well planning, pressure analysis, bottom hole assembly design, and torque and drag analysis • Responsible primarily for drilling engineering on the Spy Island project of ENI Petroleum • Interface with directional drillers, local management, and clients in planning, execution, and evaluation phases • Member of the Quality Steering Committee, which analyses and acts to improve upon failures in service quality and service delivery • Concurrent field training as the first female directional driller for Schlumberger D&M in Alaska, using motors and rotary steerable systems to geosteer and drill to a target in oil and gas wells for clients such as BP and HilCorp
• Real-time problem solving for drilling operations with continuous rig-to-town feedback, in addition to having conducted analyses of drilling trends across several fields • Completed the project of reorganizing an in-house client service in less than the allotted time, offering real time drilling optimization and monitoring • Field training as the first female directional driller for Schlumberger D&M in Alaska • Received Q4 2011 VP Service Quality Award as a member of the team that drilled a record-breaking distance with PowerDrive Archer475 high-dogleg rotary steerable tool for BP • Received Q1 2012 VP Service Quality Award as a member of the team that field tested the MicroScope resistivity imaging tool on a Proof-of-Concept well for BP
• Rigsite Cell Leader for Measurements and Logging While Drilling services for ENI Petroleum, ExxonMobil, Pioneer Natural Resources, and UltraStar on remote drilling projects, often as the sole woman onsite • Obtained state and company clearance to work with radioactive sources, including IF22-equivalent certification • Mentored and trained new engineers to ensure employee retention and development • Member of the Loss Prevention Team, focussed on proactively improving quality, health, safety, and environmental conditions in the workplace • Received Q4 2010 VP Service Quality Award as a member of the team that introduced SonicVISION to log cement bonds to casing on injector wells for ENI Petroleum
Led groups of 10-14 year old girls over three-week sessions on canoe trips in the Temagami and Lady Evelyn Smoothwater regions of Ontario. Integrated boys’ and girls’ base-camp activities and elevated the status of the newer, less developed girls’ program.
