Oslo, Oslo, Norway
I work at the intersection of risk, governance and execution in complex organisations. My background spans banking, insurance, consulting and engineering, giving me both analytical depth and an operational perspective on how risk actually materialises. I currently work within the central risk function (second line) at Gjensidige, contributing to the development and operationalisation of the Group’s risk management framework. I support business areas in identifying, assessing and following up risks in line with risk appetite, with a focus on governance, reporting and strengthening structured oversight. Previously, I served as Enterprise Risk Management Lead at Santander’s Nordic headquarters, where I shaped risk strategy, led the Risk Appetite process, produced Board-level reporting and contributed to ICAAP, ILAAP, capital planning and portfolio monitoring across multiple jurisdictions. I worked closely with senior leadership and governance committees to ensure clear, data-driven decision support. Earlier, I worked as a consultant at McKinsey and DNV, delivering strategy, financial modelling, due diligence and quantitative risk analysis for major projects and institutions. My engineering background from TechnipFMC, Subsea 7 and Nexans gives me hands-on experience of operational complexity and execution under pressure. Across roles, the common thread is structured thinking, pragmatic risk assessment and the ability to translate complexity into clear decisions.
