Hello, I'm Druv Khiani, a 4th Year Student pursuing the degree of B.A LLB.(Hons.) from NMIMS' Kirit P. Mehta School of Law, Mumbai. I see myself as someone, who in addition to aspiring to venture into the voluminous depths the legal profession holds, also seeks to integrate, and thus better, my understanding of the same through a multi-dimensional focus on the theoretical and practical underpinnings behind a comprehensive understanding of the subject.Thus, I look to utilize the initial opportunity gained by studying core B.A subjects along with law to the fullest, and in doing so, bring to the table a view to the subject that is at once rooted in the vast theoretical and conceptual frameworks behind the law, and is yet aware of the inalienability of mastering the practical dimensions of its working. Further, I am an avid enthusiast of the many vagaries of Constitutional and Corptate Laws, havig an unmistakable bias towards the intersection of concepts such as Gender Justice and Feminism with Politics, Morality and Policy. I seek to actively contribute to these issues by engaging in research and community-oriented volunteer initiatives like Rotaract, which are domains of perennial interest. Let's Connect!
Prepared affidavit-in-rejoinder, list of dates, and written submissions for counsel briefings in a criminal matter. Researched, and prepared notes on propositions dealing with Eviction suits, Flat purchasers in RERA, Scope of Section 11 of the Arbitration Act, among others. Attended several arbitration sessions, along with hearings before the High Court of Bombay, Competent Authority, Konkan Division, City Civil & Sessions Courts, and Metropolitan Magistrate Court.
Worked in the Capital Markets and Securities Law team, conducting due diligence related to several sections of the Prospectus, such as Business Section, History, Government and other Approvals, as well as PPA and Approvals tracker, among others. Further, I had the opportunity to assist in preparation of several crucial IPO documents, such as Requisition lists, Business Section trackers, litigation summaries, along with conducting research on several propositions related to Pre-IPO Placement and the Companies Act, 2013.
