Focused on the design and initial development of a 3D printer filament cartridge system Developed and modelled three distinct filament cartridge design concepts, incorporating simplified loading mechanism which represented a 15% reduction in assembly and disassembly time compared to initial estimations Created detailed CAD models comprising over 10 individual components for the chosen cartridge design and explored 3 initial fabrication methods identifying SLA as the most cost-effective for initial prototyping
