I think the greatest way to deal with life's challenges is head-on; with the right amount of comprehension, a dash of crazy, and a good portion of your heart. While skill may be acquired, empathy and intuition are innate qualities. In my specialty, there are probably many talented surgeons in the world, but human understanding is lacking. My main desire is to bring my talent to the operating table, augmented with scientific knowledge and human understanding. I was associated as a surgical resident at: • BC Roy Hospital • Subhayani Hospital • Sahid Khudiram Bose Hospital I gained good experience and basic training in handling different types of surgical cases. In the meantime, I gained hands-on experience in diagnosing and treating various dental and facial conditions. Independently performed over 200 minor and over 50 major oral surgical procedures, including extractions, third molar impactions, biopsies, cyst enucleation, dental implants, and facial trauma repair. Orchestrated and participated in over 150 oral & maxillofacial surgeries, encompassing diverse procedures such as facial trauma repairs, dental implants, tumor removals, infection treatments, cleft lip/palate corrections, and oral cancer surgeries. Assisted attending surgeons in reconstructive, orthognathic, and TMJ surgeries. Partnered with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Educated over 300 patients on treatment options and addressed their concerns during consultations. Oversaw patient care and post-operative management. Conducted comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history reviews and diagnostic imaging interpretation. Participated actively in conferences and research presentations and maintained knowledge of the latest advancements in the field.
