I am excited to lead our central organization’s mentoring program at the Darmstadt site as part of a growth assignment, alongside my scientific work. I am eager to seize this opportunity to independently shape Site Management’s central people‑development tool and, in the process, further develop my skills in communication, organization, and HR. I am proud to have been entrusted with this responsibility and to work with the most important resource a science and technology company has — its people.
In a way, I've evolved to my roots: focussing on pharmaceutical R&D service in the exciting field of protein degraders.
Current focus of my R&D support labs: Novel Modality Service. Characterization of nucleic acids, viral and non-viral vector systems and cell culture related small molecules. Lab scale production of model viral vectors. Biosafety level 1 and 2.
Broad range technology managing position within an innovative biotechnological R&D matrix. Focus on analytics and toxicology. Function I: - Supervision of analytical method development and validation. - Leadership of the team and expansion of techniques. - Analytical service for R&D and quality control. - Targets: Small molecules, proteins and elements; stability, impurities, heavy metals, quality monitoring. Function II: - R&D Project Management - Toxicological and physicochemical assessment of novel food / cosmetics ingredients. - Set-up of safety evaluation standards for initial application tests. - In silico based safety evaluation. - Development phase MSDSs and CoAs. - Safety assessment of cosmetic products. - Supervision of master- and bachelor-theses.
- Responsible for R&D-projects for the food-and cosmetics-industries. Focus: Chemistry, toxicology and analysis of natural compounds. - Instrumental analytics and in house chemical consulting service. - Establishment of the proprietary screening library. Quality and stability control thereof.
