Electrochemical Sensor Development: • Product Owner for reusable pH sensors, responsible for the further development of existing products and the technical implementation of customer requirements in new developments. • Planning and steering of strategic projects and engineering changes in the areas of product reliability, supply chain and product lifecycle management, including associated business case creation and project controlling from concept phase to industrialisation. • Leading innovation projects such as the further development of critical key components through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders including R&D, Industrial Engineering, production facilities, SCM/SQM, Compliance and senior management. • Responsibility for identifying and realising lean potential for continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and contribution to quality enhancements (CAPA). • Acquisition, development and qualification of new suppliers in close cooperation with SCM and SQM.
• Identification and evaluation of optimisation potential in complex chemical and biotechnological production facilities, including subsequent planning and implementation of engineering changes. • Leading Kaizen workshops aimed at reducing site-wide resource consumption and then heading cross-functional project teams to implement defined actions. • Conducting comprehensive Chemical Hazard Assessments and HAZOP analyses to enhance process safety and minimise operational risks. • Process validation during commissioning of newly installed production systems in GMP environments. • First point of contact for handling and resolving plant disruptions and process deviations.
(Arxada AG is a carve-out from Lonza AG) • Led an R&D team for process optimisation in active ingredient manufacturing and experimental development of techno-economic feasibility studies under GMP conditions. • Ensured plant availability, reliability and operational safety through root cause analysis, FMEAs, use of Lean/Six Sigma methods and systematic process data analysis of KPIs using established IT systems. • Maintenance of SOPs, PQS and EHS documentation, and execution of batch record reviews.
