I work on how AI is reshaping financial markets and organizations. Before returning to research, I spent nearly five years at Siemens Financial Services, where I led technology for the Equity Finance business, advised on AI and digital strategy, and managed a multi-million-euro technology portfolio. I am now a researcher at the University of Oxford, where my work develops the idea of algorithmic markets and examines how machine intelligence changes the way information is processed, capital is allocated, and organizations make decisions. I also lead the DEIM Research Institute, an independent non-profit focused on AI, finance, and digital ecosystems.
