I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California and Oregon, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington, as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor. With a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of the Cumberlands, I bring over 25 years of clinical experience and 21 years of teaching at the college and university level. My professional journey has been grounded in a deep commitment to improving the therapeutic experience for both clients and clinicians. I’m particularly interested in how emerging technologies can enhance clinical outcomes, streamline the therapeutic process, and support client and clinician well-being. As I continue my academic and clinical work, I continue to remain interested in opportunities that bridge practice, pedagogy, and innovation. I’m especially drawn to projects that focus on improving mental health delivery, therapist development, and equitable access to care.
