The liver is the mirror of modern metabolism — it reflects how we live, move, eat, and adapt to the pressures of modern life. Across the MENA region, metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD/MASH) has become a silent epidemic, deeply connected to obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular risk. My mission is to reshape how liver health is detected, managed, and understood. I'm a Consultant Internist and Hepatologist , and a Certified Clinical Trials Principal Investigator (SCFHS). My work sits at the intersection of clinical hepatology, research, and digital innovation — integrating non-invasive diagnostics (FibroScan®, FIB-4), tele-hepatology, and AI-assisted case-finding into everyday practice. As a researcher, I contribute to the evidence base regionally and globally I lead an initiaive - Liver Health Program (research & education), direct Liver Academy CME courses, and mentor the next generation of clinicians and clinician-scientists. I build models of care that are proactive rather than reactive — combining evidence-based medicine, patient empowerment, and collaborative innovation to bring liver health to the forefront of metabolic medicine.
