Dr. Lina Noureddin is the Co-Founder, CEO and Managing Partner of Lamar Holding, an umbrella organization comprising companies focused on energy and social infrastructure projects. Under her leadership, Lamar Holding companies have closed more than $2.5 billion in deals to develop, manage and operate oil & gas, water desalination, wastewater processing, pipeline workers compounds and other critical infrastructure projects in the Middle East, Africa and Europe. Lamar Holding also focuses on innovation through its venture capital fund and investment in Saudi startups. As CEO, Lina drives Lamar Holding’s global expansion efforts and oversees the development and execution of the corporation’s strategic plans and operational initiatives. This includes bidding on and winning contracts to develop and operate public-private partnerships (PPP) and build-operate-transfer (BOT) infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia and throughout the GCC region. She and her team leverage the advantage of local knowledge and access to give Lamar Holding companies an edge over international conglomerates that primarily rely on their sheer size to secure deals. Lina also encourages the use of sustainable materials, technologies, and processes in all infrastructure projects her companies develop. Since launching the company in 2008, Lina has helped grow Lamar Holding into a corporation managing 40 companies and over 5,000 employees. The company’s clients include both government and corporate entities like the Bulgartransgaz and Saudi Aramco. Lina previously served as Secretary General for the Economic Consultative Council in the Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan, Vice President of the Social Security Corporation under the guidance of His Majesty King Abdullah II, and Director of the Jordan Education Initiative under the patronage and chair of Queen Rania Al Abdullah. With a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Jordan, Lina earned her Ph.D. in finance from Jordan’s University of Banking and Financial Sciences. She regularly speaks at World Economic Forum events about FDI, infrastructure development, sustainability, and the benefits of PPPs. A fierce advocate for women in business, Lina is one of the only female CEOs to oversee the development of oil & gas infrastructure projects in the GCC region.
