I'm a PhD in Biomedical Health Informatics and have an MS in Software Engineering. I like data science, machine learning, statistics, and using data to make decisions. I like the idea that it's possible to change clinical outcomes for the better through great software and data systems. I like working on teams to make the next big thing. I've always been interested in how things work, finding answers to problems, and then writing programs to make them go away. Decision support is fine, but there still has to be a human in the loop. Automation is where it's at for me.
